Our next five games.
An interesting period coming up with an International break punctuating the next five games.

This period we will be without Kouyate but could see JOB, Skipper Nolan and Matt Jarvis coming back to full fitness adding excellent competition for the starting eleven.

How do you think we will go from now until early November? I optimistically think we will accumulate a further 10 points. The fixtures are as follows,

September 27: Manchester United (A)

October 4: Queens Park Rangers (H)

October 18: Burnley (A)

October 25: Manchester City (H)

November 1: Stoke City (A)

COYI's.

Kouyate is out til November, but it means we could have him and Carroll back around the same time which would be a huge bonus

Think I need to get my eyes tested, could've sworn the original post said "could see JOB, Skipper Nolan and Matt Jarvis coming back to full fitness adding excellent competition for the starting eleven."

Tsk, silly me.

It's either "relegation for sure" or "Champions League here we come" on here, depending on the last result.

We'll probably lose badly to Man U and it'll be back to "Valencia is a waste of money. SAM OUT"

Are you seriously suggesting that ' Nolan will add serious competition for the starting eleven'?

Wouldn't have him on the bench, the pace we are playing at the moment would leave him a spectator and we don't really want to start with ten men again do we!

Man u draw
Burnley win
QPR win
Man city lose
Stoke win

10 points as long as the 2 strikers stay fit

Knowing us we will beat one (or both) of the Man clubs and then lose to QPR and Burnley.... so 9 points but not necessarily the ones we expect.

All depends on whether Sam decides to go back to his "tried tested and failed" approach with Nolan once Nolan is back.

If he sticks with what has been achieved recently, sans Nolan, then three of those games are winnable; basically all but the two Mancs, though perhaps we might be able to nick a point at Old Trafford. (Don't wish to tempt fate by suggesting more than one point)

Wasn't expecting any off Liverpool so in a better position than I thought we would be.

Got to expect 5 points minimum out of those surely?

Good chance of a major spanking at Old Trafford.

QPR should be three points.

Burnley will make things difficult. We're capable of a win there, but...

Man City... null points.

Stoke draw.

Five or seven points.

I am perfectly calm thanks mate.

Now, you really remind me of someone that used to post on here. He certainly didn't live in the docklands, he did generously donate to a Nigerian scam once and was fatally threatened by a WHO poster as recent as April of this year.

It's not you is it?
